BaseElements Requirements

BaseElements requires version 11 of FMP or FMPA to run. It's also a requirement that you can produce a Database Design Report, and for that you'll need FMPA. Any version of FMPA that is compatible with your solution, and it's features will suffice. However, don't use FMPA 8 to produce the DDR for a solution that takes advantage of v9 or v10 only features, as those items won't be included in the DDR and your analysis will be incomplete.

I don't have version 11 yet though !!!

Don't worry all is not lost, you can still take advantage of all of these things by using the Runtime version of BaseElements. Currently the Runtime application is at version 11.3, so you get all of the advantages of 11 without having to keep your version of FMP up to date.

You can still generate the DDR using whatever version of FMPA you have, 7.0 through 11, and then import into BaseElements using the runtime.
