BaseElements Translation Status

This is a work in progress page to track the status of the translation of BaseElements into languages other than english. So far, the details are as follows :

Swedish : Done - Thanks to David Wikström from CamelCase data.

**BaseElements 2.6.0b1 released 26th June 2009

The first beta version of BaseElements 2.6.0 is now available and can be downloaded from the links below. This version adds initial support for Spanish, Dutch, Swedish, Italian, Pirate and Japanese. As well as new language support, there is also a system wide search functionality, based on fmSearchResults from SeedCode.

There are still items to complete in the translation, including some custom dialogs and Tab Panel names. There may also be other items missing from the translation, and all languages should be considered beta status.

BaseElements 2.6.0b2 released 29th June 2009

Fixed an issue with selecting the language.
Added a French language option.

BaseElements 2.6.0b3 released 7th July 2009

Added a German language option.
Re-did all of the layouts to give more room to fields.
Added localised Tabs for all of the tab items.

BaseElements 2.6.0b4 released 29th October 2009

Added a localisation interface to allow you to edit the language data within BE and see where items are used.
Added a new plugin to allow localised dialogs and replace Troi File.
Completed the localisation, everything should be done now :)

BaseElements 2.6.0 released 14th November 2009

BaseElements 2.6.0 is now available. It only includes English by default, but all of the capacity for the various languages are completed. So as soon as the translations are brought up to date then we'll have an update available with the new language included.

I'm also making available the complete language file, which you can import into the setup area inside BaseElements. Alternatively you can modify this file directly and email us with any changes. Please contact us if you'd like to help.
